Your clinician reviews your complete record, forms their own clinical judgment, and confirms it with you on a call.
A guided interview covering the same ground a traditional assessment covers. It is guided by our voice technology, from home, at your own pace. Most people take 45 minutes. You can pause and come back anytime.
Then we tell you that honestly, and your clinician explains what they found and what routes might help instead. You'll have a thorough written record either way. We only recommend treatment where it's clinically appropriate.
No. Vela doesn't prescribe. If treatment is appropriate, your clinician's report goes to a verified UK care provider and we manage the handover.
We assess and hand you to a treatment provider who does titration and ongoing prescribing. Their fees are separate from ours, and we'll tell you what your options cost before you commit to anything.
You'll receive a full written report and a letter for your GP when we hand you over. Shared care itself is arranged by your treatment provider: once you're stable on a dose, they write to your GP with the diagnosis, the medication and the monitoring schedule, and ask them to take over prescribing. Many GPs accept. Some GPs and some ICBs refuse private diagnoses as a matter of policy, and that's outside anyone's control. If yours declines, you can stay with your treatment provider privately.
